Our mission is to counsel, support, and educate clients in becoming abstinent and maintaining sobriety, as well as enhance their personal growth and family dynamics to improve prosocial functioning and positive decision making by utilizing a strength-based approach.
The ABH target population is any English speaking adult or youth in need of mental health, substance abuse or dual diagnosis therapeutic services. Inpatient, Intensive Outpatient and Day Treatment services are only available for adolescent populations; however, evaluation and outpatient services are available for all age groups (including individual, couple and family therapy).
ABH has the ability to minimize artificial barriers for special needs clientele. When the needs cannot be sufficiently met at ABH, every effort will be made for appropriate referral to community agencies. Services are available to eligible persons and their families without regard for gender, race, creed, sexual orientation, or ethnic background. ABH ensures that all clients are treated equitably and without favoritism.
ABH may treat urgent cases with priority if appropriate. ABH is a community-based program with the goal of serving and keeping youth in their home community.
ABH meets all criteria as required by governmental licenses, contracts and state, city and local guidelines or mandates.
